Dear Philippe

I have now retired from work and now am able to do more research into the Henzey family.  I have been looking at the earliest generations of the family in England.

I have come to the conclusion that Edward Henzey who left Eccleshall in 1585 is a different man to Edward Henzey who married at Eccleshall in 1602.  In fact they were probably uncle and nephew.

I also think that Georges Hennezel of Houldrichapelle was probably married twice.  The second wife was Moingeon des Massey and the first wife may have been the daughter of François Thiétry of the Verrière Thomas.

I have posted my theories on my website (in English).

I doubt my French is up to translating them.

Best wishes
